These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Device Specs API website (https://ds.gtgroup.dev), the DeviceSpecs smartphone specifications API, and the associated C# and TypeScript SDKs (together, the "Service"), operated by GTGroup ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service provides programmatic access to normalized smartphone hardware specifications in JSON format. API access, authentication, subscriptions, and billing are managed through RapidAPI and are additionally subject to RapidAPI's terms and the plan you subscribe to.

2. Acceptable Use

  • Use the Service only through your own valid API credentials; do not share or resell access keys.
  • Respect the rate limits and quotas of your subscription plan.
  • Do not attempt to probe, overload, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service infrastructure.
  • Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate third-party rights.

3. Data & Intellectual Property

Specifications are collected and normalized from publicly available sources and are provided for informational purposes. The aggregation pipeline, normalization schema, SDKs, and website content are our intellectual property. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use API responses within your applications for the duration of your subscription.

4. Availability & Accuracy

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. While we work to keep specifications accurate and current, device data may contain errors or lag behind manufacturer announcements. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third parties including RapidAPI (distribution and billing) and Google APIs (internal content publishing). We are not responsible for the availability, terms, or practices of third-party services.

7. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, abusive usage, or non-payment. You may stop using the Service at any time by canceling your RapidAPI subscription.

8. Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
